Rescue:

Melody was noticed by a former coworker of one of our volunteers. She was at a friend’s farm
looking after things while they were on holiday. She noticed Melody nursing her three little
calico kittens in the host’s garden. They had been there since they were born, and as the story
goes, Melody had already spent two winters outside she refused to go into the barn. We don’t
know where she found proper shelter. When Pet Patrol received the call, one of the kittens had
already fallen into the pool and been fished out. The days were cold and nights were even colder.
The next day, she saw the mother cat take the kittens across the highway to hunt in the field. One
kitten got a little confused and sat down right on the yellow line! That was enough. All the cats were
quickly brought into Pet Patrol’s care where they have warmed up and thrived.

Personality:

Little Meadow may be the smallest of her crew, but she’s full of big energy and an even bigger
heart! Don’t let her size fool you—Meadow loves to run, chase, and keep up with her siblings during
playtime. When it’s time to wind down, she’s all about cozying up in her bed, often rolling over to
show her belly, ready for gentle rubs. Meadow has a special fondness for lap time too, where she’ll
happily curl up and purr like crazy while being petted. Her sweet nature and love for cuddles make
her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a mix of playful fun and tender affection. Meadow
is ready to be adopted into her forever home with a sibling playmate, one that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely.
