Rescue:

n late spring, a mama cat and her kittens were spotted living under a side yard shed in the middle
of the city. Once noticed, the family next door started leaving food out for them. Soon, the mama cat
—now named Jube Jube—began spending more time in their yard. As the kittens grew, the family
became concerned for their well being. Without being touched by people, they would become wild,
start breeding, become prey, or subjected to our freezing winter weather. When Jube Jube would
come to eat, she would stand at the far end of the deck and call to her kittens. They’d come trotting
up from their hiding spot to dine while she watched over them. This now content mother cat quickly
grew fond of the family, often meowing for attention and asking for pets when they were outside.
She even began spending nights on the mat at their back deck, waiting to greet them each morning
for breakfast. The family contacted Pet Patrol to ensure Jube Jube and her five kittens would be
safe. They were brought inside to be fostered, where they will receive the care and warmth they
need.

Personality:

Clarabelle may seem like the princess of the group, watching her brothers and sisters wrestle while
enjoying gentle pets, but don’t be fooled—this princess has a strong, playful side. She jumps right
in on games of Chase, Hide and Seek and her favourite, the kitten version of the Indy 500. Once
she gets to know you, she’ll reveal her goofy, fun loving self, pouncing on toys and joining in on the
action with her siblings. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home, ideally with one of her
siblings, where she will be loved and kept safely indoors.
