Rescue:

In late spring, a mama cat and her kittens were spotted living under a side yard shed in the middle
of the city. Once noticed, the family next door started leaving food out for them. Soon, the mama cat
—now named Jube Jube—began spending more time in their yard. As the kittens grew, the family
became concerned for their well being. Without being touched by people, they would become wild,
start breeding, become prey, or subjected to our freezing winter weather. When Jube Jube would
come to eat, she would stand at the far end of the deck and call to her kittens. They’d come trotting
up from their hiding spot to dine while she watched over them. This now content mother cat quickly
grew fond of the family, often meowing for attention and asking for pets when they were outside.
She even began spending nights on the mat at their back deck, waiting to greet them each morning
for breakfast. The family contacted Pet Patrol to ensure Jube Jube and her five kittens would be
safe. They were brought inside to be fostered, where they will receive the care and warmth they
need.

Personality:

Oreo is a beautiful boy who plays hard and snuggles plenty, and when he’s happy his purr can be
heard across the room. He loves making biscuits on your lap, proudly showing off his handsome
toe beans, and will flop onto the floor for belly rubs—only to spring back up and wrestle with his
siblings again. He is great fun to watch explore his surroundings, new toys and readily greets you at
the door. He has a lot to give and is ready to be adopted into his forever home, ideally with one of
his siblings. One where he will be welcomed into the family and kept safely indoors.
