Rescue:

Pet Patrol received an email from a local homeowner, stating she had found a pregnant mama on
her property two months prior. That same kitty, Mama May, ended up having a litter of five babies ­
one girl and four boys (Miri included). The homeowner was unable to take them in due to having
her own batch of kitties, so Pet Patrol came to take them to the sanctuary. May was definitely in
mama mode when she first arrived, looking after her kittens and making sure they were safe. Even
so, she was lovely with volunteers with some time, and her kittens, being raised with people who
handled them gently, have become family friendly are now safely ready for adoption.

Personality:

Miri is a sweet and gentle soul with a perfect mix of independence and affection. She’s quite
content spending time on her own, but when nap time rolls around, you can count on her to curl up
next to you for some snuggles. Miri’s soft little meow might seem quiet, but it’s her way of letting
you know she’s ready for attention—and you won’t want to resist! Playtime is one of Miri’s favorite
pastimes, especially when string toys or catnip mice are involved. Whether batting at toys or
stretching out for a nap, Miri’s calm, loving presence makes her an ideal companion for any home.
She brings comfort in quiet moments and will be a sweet shadow when she wants your attention.
Miri is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
