Rescue:

A man in his 60s and who has always worked on farms had found a little kitten behind a boiler in a
poultry plant that he worked at. There were always a few cats around to keep the rodent population
down, but little kittens were not allowed to be in with the chickens. It was not safe for them, so he
quickly scooped her up and put her in his car. He took her home, raised her, had her spayed, and
took good care of her, but as happens in life, things change. He was no longer able to stay in the
small apartment he lived in and was moving into a portion of a farmhouse where he was
employed. Unfortunately, Tigger was not welcome and the man was not able to find another home
for her. On moving day, she came into Pet Patrol’s care. It took her some time to adjust to her new
home, but her new foster parents have quickly learned about her personality and patiently adapted
to her needs.

Personality:

Tigger is a beautiful cat who needs to be with someone who is observant and respectful of her cues
and understands that personal space is important to her. This pretty girl needs a quiet, calm house,
as she is still very skittish of loud noises and sudden movements. Any noisy household hobbies will
require a secluded space for her to wait out the storm. However, Tigger is playful! She likes toys
and chases them all over the house. She meets her foster mommy at the door when she gets
home, will come when called, and insists on being on the same floor of the house as her humans.
She loves to chirp and trill and will say good morning too, by laying at your feet. Love and affection is
on her terms and timeline, as Tigger is not a cuddle bug or a lap cat, but she shows that she cares
in other ways. Tigger is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
