Rescue:

Louis and Thor originally came from a small town where they were found in the wild as kittens.
Unfortunately, the home they grew up in was a rough one. To compensate, Thor learned to be extra
affectionate to support his owner and Louie learned to be concerned around people and smaller
dogs. Recently, a Pet Patrol volunteer received a call from a girl who had been helping the
owner and who took the two cats from the dysfunctional home. She said her health was
compromised and she couldn’t clean up after the cats. She also already had a dog the brothers
were afraid of. A volunteer drove an hour from home, late at night, and picked them up. They
were kept in the bathroom overnight before being brought into Pet Patrol’s care. They are lovely
cats and would appreciate a quiet devoted home

Personality:

Thor may have a mighty name, but this soft-spoken and easygoing cat has a gentle spirit. He has
seamlessly integrated into the sanctuary, getting along well with all the other cats and happily
exploring his surroundings. You’ll often find Thor perched by the window, watching the world
outside with quiet curiosity. He’s adapted well to the changes in his life and seems content, though
he knows that a loving family of his own would be the perfect next step. Thor is especially
affectionate with the volunteers at the sanctuary, greeting them with warmth and enjoying every bit
of attention he gets. He’s perfectly fine being picked up and carried around, soaking in the love and
cuddles without any fuss. But Thor also knows how to unwind and enjoy his quiet time, often curling
up in a cozy blanket for a peaceful nap away from the hustle and bustle. Thor’s laidback, loving
nature makes him a wonderful companion, and he’s ready to find his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
