Rescue:

Bowie and Bon Jovi’s journey started in the most heartbreaking way. When they were very little,
these two were found in a park during a heavy rainstorm. A woman walking her dog heard faint
kitten cries near the riverbank and, with her friend’s help, climbed down to investigate. The sound
was coming from a drainage pipe, and there was tiny Bowie, huddled at the edge. As they peered
further into the pipe, they could just make out the shadows of Bon Jovi and three other kittens
inside. With quick thinking, the rescuers placed humane traps at both ends of the long pipe and
gently banged on the metal, coaxing the frightened kittens into the traps and to safety. For four long
months, Bowie and Bon Jovi lived in a four level cage at a small rescue in a dimly lit room, their
faces expressionless and their spirits dampened by confinement. When Pet Patrol heard their story,
we couldn’t bear to see them endure that any longer. Along with 15 other cats, Bowie and Bon Jovi
were brought into our care, and their transformation began almost immediately.

Personality:

On their first day with us, their eyes were still dull, and their emotions seemed distant. But after a
little love, some Churro cat treats, and gentle pets and massages, the change was remarkable. By
the very next day, their eyes were bright and lively, they sought our attention, and their playful
personalities began to shine through. These boys have thrived in their new environment, enjoying
the freedom to run, climb, and explore as they’ve always deserved. Bowie and Bon Jovi are social,
happy cats who get along well with other cats and are ready to find their forever homes. They can
be adopted together or separately, but both will bring joy to any family lucky enough to welcome
them. They are ready to be adopted into a forever home. One that will welcome them into the family
and keep them safely indoors.
