Rescue:

Louis and Thor originally came from a small town where they were found in the wild as kittens.
Unfortunately, the home they grew up in was a rough one. To compensate, Thor learned to be extra
affectionate to support his owner and Louie learned to be concerned around people and smaller
dogs. Recently, a Pet Patrol volunteer received a call from a girl she who had been helping the
owner and who took the two cats from the dysfunctional home. She said her health was
compromised and she couldn’t clean up after the cats. She also already had a dog the brothers
were afraid of. The volunteer drove an hour from home, late at night, and picked them up. They
were kept in the bathroom overnight before being brought into Pet Patrol’s care. They are lovely
cats and would appreciate a quiet devoted home.

Personality:

When Louis first arrived at the sanctuary, he was understandably nervous. He spent his first few
days sitting quietly in the back corner of his kitty condo, wide eyed and unsure of all the new
changes—new people, lots of other cats, and a completely different routine. But in just a short time,
Louis began to show his true personality. His confidence slowly emerged, and he integrated
beautifully with the other sanctuary cats. Now, Louis can be found lounging on the bed with his
feline friends, perched at the window watching the world go by, and happily accepting pets and
cuddles from anyone who offers them. Louis has truly blossomed into a relaxed and content cat,
enjoying the simple pleasures of life and proving that he’s adaptable and resilient. He gets along
well with other cats, and while he came to the sanctuary with Thor, they don’t necessarily need to
be adopted together—though they wouldn’t mind it! Louis is ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
