Rescue:
This little guy, Qiro, was found in a barn outside a small country town a good hour from the city.
They know the cats they have on the property, to keep down the mouse population because there
is feed, but they didn’t think there was any female cats with kittens. Why is there just one kitten?
Qiro seemed very confused about his surroundings and what was going on, and they gathered him
up quickly and brought him into the house. Advertising him on social media a woman who does cat
rescue contacted the family and she took him into her home until she was able to find another place
for him as she was full. You always have to wonder where these guys come from especially when
they are so young and alone.
Personality:
What a purr! Qiro’s motor starts the moment he sees you, rumbling even louder when you pick him
up for a cuddle, and reaching full volume when he snuggles his head under your chin. He’s full of
love, offering head butts and cheek kisses as part of his charm. While he enjoys playtime and
cuddles with his foster littermates, his heart truly belongs to his humans. Qiro is happiest when he’s
by your side, curiously watching everything you do and “helping” out, whether needed or not.
He adores chin scratches, which highlight his bright white throat in a sea of soft, orange kitten fur.
Qiro would be thrilled to join a home with other cats or with humans who excel in wand toy waving,
cushy ball tossing, and, of course, endless cuddles. With his affectionate and playful spirit, Qiro is
ready to bring joy and warmth to a loving family one that will keep him safely indoors
