Rescue:
Patrol received a message from a woman who does cat rescue in her small community. Originally it
was a much larger organization, but as time moves on and peoples lives change, capacity for
taking in cats is down to just one person. A litter of kittens was born on a farm property and, the
kittens started wandering around as early as four and five weeks of age. Little Tipsy showed up and
how she made it across the driveway from the outbuilding where they suspect she was born, to the
house, was sheer determination. Tipsy has a condition called Cerebral Hypoplasia. It is where the
cerebellum in the brain does not develop properly while still in uterine and the cat is perpetually offbalance. A few days later another wee kitten appeared, her sister Turvy, who is OK. Little Tipsy gets
around just fine although it might take her a little bit of time as she’s wobbly, but she is bright, she
plays, and she loves to be loved.
Personality:
Tipsy and Turvy are a bonded pair with unique personalities that complement each other perfectly!
Both are polydactyl on all four paws, giving them extra “thumbs” that only add to their charm. These
playful kitties love their toys, spending hours batting, chasing, and pouncing around. They’re welladjusted and get along wonderfully with the resident cats and even the calm dog in their foster
home. Tipsy is the cuddler of the two, often curling up for snuggles and purring contentedly in your
arms. Turvy, on the other hand, is the mischievous one, always up for a little adventure and
exploring every nook and cranny. Together, they bring double the fun and double the love, making
them an irresistible pair for any family looking to add a playful and affectionate duo to their home
