Rescue:
Django, Dior, Dolce, Devika, and Dax have a story rooted in resilience and determination. For three
years, their feral mom has outsmarted every rescue attempt, living by her wits on the streets and
returning to the same backyard to give birth. Despite the rescuers’ best efforts, this clever mama
cat always manages to disappear, only returning to have her litters under the shed. One day, the
rescuer’s granddaughter heard soft mewing coming from under the shed and discovered the
kittens. At just five weeks old, they were left to fend for themselves when their mom disappeared
again. Determined not to leave these little ones behind, the rescuers removed the floorboards from
the shed and safely retrieved the kittens. Their mom has yet to be caught, but plans are already in
motion to ensure her next litter doesn’t go unnoticed. Meanwhile, Django, Dior, Dolce, Devika, and
Dax were brought into the care of Pet Patrol after spending time in a small rescue. They had been
caged for several weeks by the time they arrived, but thanks to the love and attention they received
from their rescuers, they quickly blossomed.
Personality:
Devika is the largest of the litter of kittens and loves her food and playing with any cat. Devika was
the most timid out of the litter of kittens and she has blossomed while in foster care. Devika is the
queen of tail choreography and can whip it around like she is an artist in the most humorous ways.
She is keen to hunt all the toys in her environment and has the sweetest little chirp of a meow when
she is wanting your attention. She leans into her cuddle and enjoys being around people and other
cats. Her personality shines best when she is with people who are patient with her and she will
bless you with so much love and affection. Devika has the softest fur and really unique markings
with light brown butterscotch tabby markings with orange tips and spots and has eyes that just look
deeply into your soul. Devika loves to play and chase anything with feathers and chase balls with
her siblings. She may not always land her jumps but she loves to try. She likes her ears to be
rubbed and enjoys being around people and her supervision. Devika loves her sister Dolce and
would like to be adopted with her and be welcomed into a family that will love her to bits, and keep them safely indoors.
