Rescue:

One of our dedicated volunteers lives in a small village surrounded by farms and cottages, where
late summer and early fall often bring an influx of stray cats seeking food and shelter. At her feeding
station, equipped with insulated cat houses, she noticed a new visitor—a kitty perched high in a
tree! When she called out, the cat eagerly climbed down and ran to her, meowing as if to say,
“Finally, someone to help me!” This was Julie, a sweet and hungry soul who immediately devoured
two full cans of food and basked in the attention she so desperately craved. As much as the
volunteer wanted to bring Julie inside, it became clear that Julie had kittens nearby. She patiently
waited for Julie to bring her babies, Jack and Jill, to the feeding station. Once reunited, all three
were safely brought indoors, much to their relief. The kittens were eager for the warmth and safety
of a home after being moved from place to place to avoid the dangers of nearby dogs. Julie has
since proven to be a deeply affectionate and playful cat who loves to snuggle, watch birds from the
safety of a cozy window, and share her loving nature with everyone she meets.

Personality:

Julie is a gentle and affectionate kitty who adores being held and snuggled. Her loving nature
makes her a perfect companion for quiet moments, and her soft purrs are as comforting as can be.
Julie is also playful and curious, with a keen interest in her surroundings. She finds endless
entertainment watching birds through the window, safe and cozy indoors. This sweet girl would
thrive in a home where she can be showered with attention and affection. Julie is ready to be
adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
