Rescue:

Katie Moon’s journey began on a quiet country farm, where she, her mother, and her siblings first
appeared in early September. The farmer, noticing the little family, started putting out food and
water to help them along. But as the days went by, he saw their numbers dwindle, until only two
gray kittens and their mom remained. By the end of September, just one kitten was left, soon
named Kitty Purry. Concerned for their safety, the farmer reached out to a Pet Patrol foster
volunteer, who quickly brought Kitty Purry into care. While Kitty Purry settled into her new foster
home, a surprise awaited the farmer. Katie Moon, one of the missing kittens, reappeared at the
farmhouse, looking for a safe place. Wasting no time, the farmer brought her onto the porch to keep
her warm and secure. He called the same Pet Patrol volunteer, who soon arranged for Katie Moon
to join a foster home of her own. Now, Katie Moon is safe, well cared for, and looking forward to a
brighter future with a loving family

Personality:

Katie is an absolute snuggle bug who loves nothing more than cozying up with her foster mom.
With a big heart and an even bigger purr, she lets her motor rumble happily whenever she’s being
petted or cuddled. Katie also has a playful side—she’s discovered the joy of tinkle balls and catnip
mice, which she loves to chase and pounce on with enthusiasm. Like her sister, she purrs through
every moment, showing just how happy and content she is to be safe and loved. Katie will make a
wonderful, affectionate addition to her forever family. One that will keep her safely indoors.
