Rescue:

Stella, Sheldon, and Neika all found their way to a rural farm property, a haven of sorts for
abandoned cats. The farm, with its long gravel lane and quiet barn filled with hay and straw, often
attracts cats left behind by their owners. While many believe the country life is ideal for cats, it often
isn’t. Farm properties that can take in yet another unfixed cat are rare, and the challenges of
overpopulation and feeding them can quickly spiral out of control. The three cats arrived at different
times, but each seemed to be friendly house cats once loved and then discarded. Stella and
Sheldon were welcomed into the home, while Neika, thought to be a male, was kept in the barn.
When they were finally brought into Pet Patrol’s care, it was discovered that Neika is actually a
sweet and striking dark tortoiseshell girl. Now safe and cared for, Stella, Sheldon, and Neika are
leaving their difficult pasts behind and are ready to find loving homes where they’ll never be
abandoned again

Personality:

Neika is a resilient and friendly cat who’s blossomed beautifully since her rescue. After spending
time alone in a storage barn, she’s learning to thrive with proper care and love. While she’s still
discovering how she feels about other cats, her affectionate nature and willingness to trust make
her a joy to be around. Neika’s thin frame is filling out as she flourishes, ready to start her next
chapter in a loving home where she can continue to grow and shine. She is looking for her forever
home, one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
