Rescue:
Oxford’s start to his life was horrible. A woman had heard about a family who had a number of cats
in their home with kittens to give away. It was not a nice home, dysfunctional and accurately
described as a hoarders home in ill repair. There are years of grim on the doors and walls where
hands had touched, floors were filthy with faeces and dirt. There were only pathways through the
home and on either side was stuff, garbage, things piled and left to sit for ages. The litter box was
never cleaned. They would put the kittens in a carrier over night so that they would not run around
and wake them up. But let’s think about this if the house is in deplorable shape, that carrier was
not cleaned either, and the kittens sat in their own faeces and urine every night. This created
horrendous sores on their bellies and feet. Reports have been made to try and clear up the
situation but help is slow. We are very happy to have rescued many cats and this sweet boy from
that home and all have recovered from their injuries
Personality:
Oxford is an adventurous little explorer with a playful spirit. He loves chasing toys, carrying them
around like prized possessions, and investigating every new space he finds. But for all his playful
energy, he’s just as happy curling up for a cuddle, whether it’s with a fellow kitten or a warmhearted
human. He is incredibly bonded with his brothers, Odyssey and Oakley, and they find great comfort
in each other’s company. Whether they’re tumbling around in play or snuggled up for a nap, their
bond is undeniable. While we know adopting three kittens together is a challenge, we would love to
see at least two of them find a home together but it would be ideal to find the same home for all
three. Oxford is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
