Rescue:
A man on social assistance called Pet Patrol looking for some help. He had eight kittens in
his home! How does that happen? It appears that he and his family have two female cats, but
they could not afford the high prices that were quoted them from the different vet clinics to
have them spayed. At one point the man’s brother needed a place to stay for a short period of
time and moved in with him, but he had a male cat, also not altered. As would happen, because the cat was not kept separate from both of the female cats, they became pregnant. The
first litter came into Pet Patrol care at nine weeks of age, and the second litter will follow when
weaned. All the kittens have been gently and lovingly handled by children in a family setting,
and treated with kindness and respect.
Personality:
Whisper is a beautiful girl who likes to sit up high and observe her brothers Whiskers and
Wasabi wrestle. Often, she will take part herself jumping into the action, as she has lots of
energy to play. She is extremely affectionate and purrs when you even look at her and she is
more than happy to be picked up and held. She can be found curled up on someone’s lap or
tucked in with her brothers in a puddle of fur and purr. Whisper is ready to be adopted into her
forever home with a playmate or sibling. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
