Rescue:

Wee Sylvi was found in the country, outside of a home, in a window well. When a mother cat
chooses to have her kittens in a window well, it is to keep them safe and from roaming, but a
kitten on its own, if not found, is trapped and has no way to get out, to get food or be out of the
rain. The home owner was inside the house, in the basement doing her laundry when out of
the corner of her eye she saw some movement in the window. She stood up on a stool and
looked and saw this tiny kitten barely able to walk. This was Sylvi and she was brought into the
house immediately and fed. The woman noticed how thin she was, her coat was rough and it
was obvious she did not have any mother cat looking after her. She started calling around to
find a cat rescue organization that would help with Sylvi and found one of our volunteers. It is
still a mystery as to where she originally came from as there are no farm cats around and the
nearest neighbour was over a kilometer way.

Personality:

This cutie has done very well in our volunteers foster home. She runs around and plays with
just about anything, loves the other cats and curls up with the resident kitty. She loves to sit on
your lap and curl right into you, taking long naps on your chest as you sleep or watch TV. She
loves the cat tree and sitting on the top perch to see everything going on outside the window,
with no desire to be out there, and the cubby is a cozy place to catch a catnap when her people are out of the house. Sylvi loves her toys as well and will chase after anything, pouncing
and hopping about. She is quite adorable and is ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
