Rescue:
Little Sawyer was found running about all by himself, as tiny as he was, in a large public park.
People took notice of him, as a kitten should not be outside all by himself, and in a wooded
park he could become prey. Finally, kind person took the time to lure him over to them, pet
him and finally, was able to pick him up and take him into the safety of their home. They placed
an ad on the community social media thinking that someone has somehow lost this little guy
and were looking desperately for him. but no one came forward. A lot of people offered to
give him a home but the the man felt that an established rescue that screens potential
adopters would be a better option for him. His health would be taken care of and he would be
neutered as well. He asked around to see which rescue was closest and came upon Pet
Patrol. Soon Sawyer was in our care and is now ready for adoption.
Personality:
Sawyer is a very sweet little guy and he is easy to pick up and cuddle, carry around and he
curls right into your chest and purrs contently. He is very playful and likes to chase his toy ball
around, crinkle balls, ones with bells or catnip mice are all great fun for him. He has discovered the kitty tunnel lately and likes to climb the cat tree to get the best view of the room, as
well as outside. Looking out the window is like kitty TV with the added bonus of sunshine
streaming in. Sawyer is fine with other cats and kittens and with a proper integration he
makes himself at home. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
