Rescue:
Lilly and her siblings were discovered on a beef farm where there were just too many cats.
They were amongst many, many felines that the woman living on the property was quite hesitant to part with any of them. Local cat rescue organizations had tried over
the years to help her rehome the cats and have the adults altered, at the least, but there were
many disappointing trips out there. Now that the woman is elderly and her health failing the
family has stepped in and the cats are being rescued. Lilly and her little feline family that
includes Libby, Lainy, Lucy and Lacy came into Pet Patrol care before the weather became
unbearable. There was no heat source for them in the barn or shed and within months they
would have started to breed creating a larger over population of cats and unwanted kittens.
Personality:
Lily is a pretty little dilute calico who is gentle and cuddly. She likes when her people give her
attention and carry her around, especially on your chest, up against your neck. She is a busy
girl and likes to explore the house, see what’s new, check out who’s coming into the house,
and watch the action out the window. Birds and squirrels in the yard are great entertainment
for this little cat, while she takes in a warm sunbeam. Lily is ready to be adopted into her
forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
