Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a young woman who is struggling to take care of her
family and these two little cats. As the story goes the woman originally got them from a friend
of hers who’s cat had had a litter of kittens and she thought it would be a nice idea for her
children. Now a few months later it was becoming apparent that she could not afford to have
the cats looked after properly, spayed/neutered and vaccinated Since PJ is a boy and Stella
is a girl it was inevitable that they would breed and produce more unwanted kittens. The
woman mentioned that her children were not ready to have cats in the house, and were too
rough with them. She was afraid that something might happen or the cats would become
fearful. They needed new homes asap. It was just by chance that one of our volunteers was in
the area and PJ and Stella were brought into Pet patrol care

Personality:

PJ and Stella have only ever had each other to play and cuddle with, so they would like to start
their new life together in a home that will love them and consider them part of the family. They
are both curious and outgoing kittens who like people, ask to be picked up and cuddled and
like to be cradled in your arms. They are good with children a little older (over 12) and don’t
make shy with strangers. PJ looks out for his sister, but is the first to venture out and see what
is new and what is there to play with. Stella will follow quickly and although a little more cautious, it doesn’t take long for her to be exploring as well. PJ and Stella are ready to be adopted
into their forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors.
