Rescue:

Pet Patrol has been working with a lady who lives in a small village for quite a few years.
Many, many cats have wandered over to her property from the neighbours’ where they had five
acres of junk. When the female cats become pregnant, they would migrate to this woman’s
property, specifically the chicken coop, and have their litter of kittens there. Then the cats are
moved to the woman’s studio where they are kept safe and are able to relax, be fed and
receive a lot of attention. This is the case of Dia and Esme, born in a chicken coop and
brought into Pet Patrol care with their entire feline family.

Personality:

Dia and Esma are a closely bonded pair that enjoy doing everything together. Their unique
colouring makes them stand out from other cats and so do their personalities. Dia is very
talkative during feeding times and energetic. When she is not playing, she enjoys resting on
fluffy blankets by the window and watching the snow fall. Esme likes to rest in the sun, give
high fives to people, and play with the rolling ball toy. Both girls are most cuddly when they
wake up from naps, especially when temptations, greenies, or tiki tubes are involved. These
kittens have experienced many different places together so they enjoy stability and calm environments. Although they are shy at first, they are very gentle with people and just require a little
bit of patience. Dia and Esme are ready to be adopted together into their forever home. One
that will welcome them into the family keep her safely indoors.
