Rescue:

Poor Daisy. She was found alone and abandoned on the walking trail near a small village
known for its tourist attractions. Two women who walk the trail every day and have brought cats
to Pet Patrol before were startled when Daisy popped out onto the trail and came running to
them crying. She was thin and disheveled, and obviously very much in need of help. Having
nothing more than a cloth shopping bag, they tucked her into it and hightailed it back to the car
and onto the sanctuary arriving before opening time. Little Daisy, luckily, had a microchip
however, through many attempts to contact them the owners did not respond. This is very sad. It
is assumed now because they have not responded to our calls that she was purposely abandoned out there. Poor Daisy spent two days vomiting up all her food and huge hairballs in a
very upset tummy.

Personality:

Adorable Daisy. When she came into the sanctuary she was thin and disheveled but always
happy to see her caregivers. With time, patience and good nutrition, she improved in her
weight and has showed us continually how sweet and gentle she is. Daisy definitely is a lovely
cat deserving of a much better home. She is kind, gentle, interested in all you do and good
company. She is now ready to be adopted into her forever home preferably one that is doting
and will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
