Rescue:

A man called the Pet Patrol line and left a brief message. He was looking for someplace to
rehome his female cat and her kitten (Skyla). Apparently he had an allergic reaction to them
and became very itchy on his arms and face whenever he held her. The other complication
was there were seven more family members coming to Canada shortly. He just felt it was too
much for his family of five, plus new company coming, to keep track of mom and kitten. The
other reason for rehoming them was that the mother cat was due to give birth again at any
time. Originally he had gotten her off of Kijiji as a free cat and to most people that means free
of responsibility. Since she was not spayed she had a litter of kittens while in his care and
eventually found homes for all but Skyla. Soon both cats came to Pet Patrol and are now
spayed and vaccinated and ready for a new home

Personality:

Baby Skyler is very pretty and photogenic. She has done very well at the sanctuary. She is
good with the other cats, easy to pick up and carry and interested in all you do. As a kitten, she
has a lot of energy and likes to run and play. We have cat tunnels, cat trees, and lots of windows at the sanctuary that she has taken full advantage of. She can be seen chasing a toy
across the room or the tail of another cat, scrambling up the cat trees to look out the windows
and sleeping in the sun is a daily thing for her. Skyler is ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
