Rescue:
Bruce and his siblings were found outside about four months ago, in a subdivision where their
rescuer lives. “A neighbour had been feeding them for a while, but before they moved away,
they informed me of where they had been seeing them. My sister and I went to look for them
and discovered four kittens (one slightly older than the others), a very pregnant queen, and two
other queens who had been nursing. After about a week of feeding them outside, we managed
to get them into carriers and brought them into our home. They were surprisingly clean. We
asked neighbours if they knew where the cats had come from and one person suggested that
they may have belonged to a neighbour that had since passed away, but I could not confirm
this (although the dates do add up). We kept visiting the spot where we found them, hoping
that we hadn’t missed anyone, and found a ginger male (Bruce) who we suspect is the father.
He was surprisingly friendly and affectionate as well, so we brought him inside and kept him
separated from the females. All are happy and healthy cats now, waiting for their new families
to adopt them.
Personality:
Bruce is a full of kitten energy. He loves to play just as much as he loves to cuddle. He is a
super sweet boy who does well with other cats, as long as he is properly introduced – and he
loves people! He is extremely affectionate, and will happily snuggle into your shoulder when he
is picked up. Bruce is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that hat will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
