Rescue:

Pet Patrol received the following message: “So we rescued some kittens, and also three
other female cats (all under 1 year old) from a house that can’t afford to get the cats fixed so
the females keep getting pregnant. The three females we took in have never been pregnant,
but it was only a matter of time. The females we are keeping and we will get them fixed.
However, I cannot keep the kittens and I tried to find them homes but nobody seems interested
at this point in time. The three kittens are from the same litter, there’s Oliver (the grey tabby
kitten), and then two black kittens named Olive and Opie. A boy and a girl. Are you able to help
us at all? I could not stand to see these poor babies all cooped up and the father is so
aggressive he’s trying to mate with the 3–4-month-old kittens.” Soon these lovely cats were in
Pet Patrol care and have done very well in theri new foster home.

Personality:

Olive is the smallest one of the litter but she doesn’t let her size stop her from wrestling with her
brother, Opie. Her favourite thing to do besides taking care of him is to find any source of heat
and lay down and soak it up She really enjoys her scratching posts and her toy of choice is
anything small and soft so she can bite into it and carry it in her mouth, happy with her catch.
Opie is a typical boy, he’s playful and full of energy and he always gets the zoomies right after
eating. He knows how to play catch with his toys and it is a delight to see how happy he is
when you throw it for him to retrieve it. This cute boy enjoys affection from his people and he
loves his sister Olive. You will find them always napping together in the cat tree, and grooming
each other. They like to take care of each other and it’s such a heartwarming sight to see.
They are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome them
into the family and keep them safely indoors.
