Rescue:
Millie is a lovely orange and white cat, which is rare for females. She was found walking
through the backyards of peoples homes in a small village about a half hour outside of the city.
She was friendly but you could see she was out of her element. She was tired, thin, and her fur
was ruffled. The people felt that she shouldn’t be outside struggling and wondered where she
came from. We found out later that her kittens had been taken away and sold, and a person
took her away far enough from her original home that she couldn’t find her way back and just
let her go. The house she came from was very loud, and she was unhappy with the rough
children there . Becoming wary of them and not being the cuddly cat they wanted they disposed of her.
Personality:
Millie is a very friendly ginger tabby girl who brightens up every room she’s in. She is endlessly
creative with play, whether chasing toys across the room or playing hockey together with her
human. Not much gets past her, and she likes to investigate what you are bringing into the
house, meeting new people and seeing what is going on. She is very affectionate and loves
company, purring loudly whenever a head scratch or pet is offered. This pretty girl would do
best in an adult only home, with no other pets or young children. Millie is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
