Rescue:
A nice lady adopted Jensen from a friend whose cat had a litter of kittens. She was smitten
with Jensen and she intended to keep him for the rest of his life and he had a great life with
her. His gentle personality made him easy to pick up and carry. Lap snuggles and cuddles
were a favourite of Jensen, when he wasn’t entertaining himself with a crinkly toy or a ball to
chase around the room. But life doesn’t always go the way we think it will. The nice lady had to
move out of her residence and ended up staying temporarily with friends. Jensen couldn’t
come with her, so he was brought to another friend’s home where there were small children,
three other cats and a dog. This was quite a change for Jensen and he really was not adjusting well. His previous owner’s parents had contemplated bringing this handsome cat into their
home, but again the problem of him not being neutered and no vaccinations caused them to
reconsider. With a tearful surrender, Jensen was brought into Pet Patrol care where he has
demonstrated his family friendly personality.
Personality:
Once at the sanctuary Jensen was given vet attention, has been neutered and is adjusting to
life in the sanctuary very well. His gentle nature continues to shine and he is demonstrating his
skills at ping pong ball chasing and stealth attacks on fuzzy cat toys. Cat trees are becoming a
favourite for Jensen and every day, volunteers find him soaring to new heights in his climbing!
He is easy to pet, pick up and cuddle, and will readily sit in your lap when on the couch or
playing with the cats on the floor. Jensen is ready for a forever home, one that will appreciate
his affectionate generosity, give him lots of snuggles and keep him safely indoors.
