Rescue:

Daisy’s rescuers tell the story of sitting on the porch of their country home and they heard a
car drive away. When they looked, a very pregnant Daisy was standing in the middle of
their driveway, and she started to head for their house. The people knew that Daisy would
need a safe place to have her kittens, so they tried to introduce her to their barn, but Daisy
didn’t want the barn! She kept coming to the front porch. Daisy was so friendly, the people
assumed that she had come from a family home and that is what she wanted again. They
provided a safe haven for her in the sunroom, and soon, she had five healthy kittens. The
family was very attentive to them, cuddling, carrying and socializing all five kittens. Four of
the kittens came into Pet Patrol at the end of last year. Daisy and her daughter, Missy,
remained in their rescued home as the people had hoped to find a home for them. However, as time went on, it appeared that it would be better for them to come to Pet Patrol to
be spayed and find forever homes.

Personality:

When Daisy first came to her foster home, she was a bit cautious and fearful, but with lots
of love and patience, she has come such a long way! This sweet, gentle girl loves her
scratches. In fact, if you get the technique right and hit just the right spot, Daisy will press
her forehead to the floor because it feels so good! Her nickname is Grinch because of the
adorable tufts of fur coming out of her ears. Daisy is still learning about toys and having
fun. She’s slowly taking an interest in playing with a wand and if she doesn’t think you’re
watching, will chase her daughter (Missy) around the room. Daisy would love a quiet home
where she could be given time to feel comfortable and open up even more.
