Rescue:

An older lady and her border were reaching out for help for a colony if cats that were coming
around her neighborhood . She resided just outside a small hamlet on a remote side road and
the kitties started showing up daily. She didn’t know if they were drop offs or strays but she
started to feed them because she has felt they deserved to be looked after Unfortunately
things have escalated with more drop offs or reproducing as none were spayed or neutered.
Oanah came pregnant almost immediately after arriving and had a couple of kittens but the
woman didn’t rescue them and they have since become feral and residing in her yard. There
are other female cats there as well And of course they have kittens and they all tend to the
babies. Oanah would always welcome kittens needing care. Because of her sweet nature the
property owner reached out to a local lady that helps rescue and rehome cats and asked for
help. The cats were brought into care along with their kittens and have enjoyed a safe foster home since.

Personality:

Oonah is a long haired ginger beauty and from her arrival at her foster home a few weeks
back she was the first to greet anyone who entered her space. She is sweet natured and very
affectionate wanting to be picked up and cuddled by her people and content to be carried
around in your arms. She often can be found snuggling with her siblings but is equally comfortable to flop down in the cushy kitty bed on her own. She exudes a quiet confidence that she is
loved and in her investigation of new places and things. She leaves the grand adventures,
such as climbing the curtains, to her siblings—but loves being up high for a bird’s eye view of
things. Oonagh is not too sure about the resident large hairy dogs her foster people also have,
but she is still curious. Oonah is ready to be adopted into her forever home with a playmate or
sibling. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
