Rescue:
Pet Patrol sanctuary is located in the country surrounded by properties where people do
things the traditional way. A farming community where horses rule over tractors and cars. We
received a call from one of the young girls who said that they have too many cats on their
property. They don’t mind a few, but there’s just too many. Apparently this lovely orange and
white female cat showed up in their barn and her name was Jayla. Soon afterwards she had
five little kittens and they wanted to make sure that they would have proper homes to go to.
Soon after that a small horse and buggy showed up in the driveway and two girls pulled out a
yellow chicken box from the back. Inside were the five kittens and their mom Jayla. They
were all easy to pick up and cuddle, and now were on their way to a carefree life.
Personality:
Jayla is a young cat with a sweet nature, elegant form and playful personality. She is starting
to come out of her shell and play with her foster brothers and sister and particularly enjoys the
small red tunnel. After vigorous play sessions, she can be found lounging on the sunny window
sill watching the world outside. Jayla would be fine with other pets in the house, Passive dogs
and cats but unsure of those that are more assertive. Affectionate and loving she is ready to
be adopted into her forever home, one that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
