Rescue:

A woman who has helped rescue cats for many years met Twinkle Toes in a chicken barn
where one of her friends works. This carefree little boy was playing with a wand toy, dancing
around on his hind feet, chasing the elusive feather. In this barn, the cats are fed, spayed or
neutered, and given a safe place to live, but the woman’s friend was concerned that they were
getting too many cats in the barn. Twinkle Toes was invited to come home with the woman.
Initially, he didn’t like the confined space of the house and raced around, trying to find some
way to get out. Slowly, Twinkle Toes started to relax, seeming to realize that the comforts of a
house were really quite nice: good food, a warm bed and all the wand toys he could ever want
to dance with! Twinkle Toes is showing his loving, friendly and playful side once again in his
new, safe space.

Personality:

Twinks loves to avail himself of the cardboard scratcher, is extremely active. And loves to run
the Indy 500 with one of his younger housemates. He plays with squeaky mice, tossing them in
the air then jumping on them, chases twinkle balls and plastic spring toys, and loves to wrestle
with a buddy or with his bed if no one is available for fun and games. This boy from the barn
has made a complete turn around and is a happy, healthy and entertaining cat ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the home and keep him safely
indoors.
