Rescue:
Susie was found in someone’s backyard looking sad and quite bewildered. A man called his
neighbour who is known to rescue cats in the area, and they usually end up at Pet Patrol .
They saw this little kitten and “really don’t know what to do. There are no other kittens”. So he
investigated the yard and found the kitten hiding in a corner. She weighed just under two
pounds and was pretty easy to pick up and put into a carrier safely, where they fed her and she
devoured the food. Frightened at first when she arrived at the sanctuary it didn’t take long for
Sophie to realize that cuddles were great and she started purring immediately. She was very
happy to be in the hands of people again. It’s quite unknown where she came from. It’s good
neighbours like these who help little ones like Sophie survive.
Personality:
Susie is an adorable and affectionate wee tabby cat. She quite enjoys cuddling before nodding off for nap time in your arms, or stretched out on your lap. It is always enjoyable after a
busy day of running around and doing kitten stuff. Her favourite pastime is running through the
cat sized tunnels, climbing anything she can and chasing small toys. If you are able to use a
big cardboard box and make little windows for her to peek out of, she finds it never gets old.
Of course wrestling and chasing her best buddy Simon is always in order. Suzie is ready to
be adopted into her forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
