Rescue:

Maddy was born indoors after her mom was rescued from the streets. She was the last one left of
the litter without a home. A woman who works in barns as her main means of income was given this
kitten. She took her home. However, this woman also tends to collect animals. When a neighbour
went into her home, she discovered little Maddy, wide eyed and scared. She was sitting among
cages full of guinea pigs. Her ears were alert to every sound, and in the other room were nine dogs.
They were busy barking, two of which were huge, which is all quite terrifying for a kitten who weighs
two pounds. The neighbor, being part of Pet Patrol, quickly took Maddy into her care and
introduced her to other kittens her age. The smile on her little face when she saw them, no dogs, no
squeaking guinea pigs and just lots of cuddles and love; it was so rewarding to see.

Personality:

Maddy is a fluffy ball of sweetness and adventure. She came to her foster home terrified and
feeling like she didn’t have a friend in the world. She was placed with an experienced mamma cat
and her litter of kitties around Maddy’s age. It was delightful to see Maddy light up when she saw
the other kittens! She immediately wanted to be part of the litter. This pretty girl is very quick to
learn how nice it is to snuggle in the safety of human arms. She cuddles and softly purrs while her
long, soft fur is caressed. Once lonely and frightened, Maddy is now a spunky and rambunctious girl
who loves chasing her foster sisters and playing with dangly toys with her people. When she is
tuckered out from a playful day, she enjoys being brushed and pet to sleep. Maddy is accustomed
to lots of household activity and being handled by children of all ages and is very gentle, and will be
happiest adopted with one of her beloved foster sisters (Caramel, Chess or Cosmo). Maddy is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
