Rescue:

Midnight spent a long time looking for help. He arrived at the backdoor of a small town resident in
the Spring of 2024, and the homeowner heard through the grapevine that Midnight was a stray from
an even smaller village nearby. No one knew if he had an owner, and no one had rescued him yet.
The homeowner had five cat houses on their patio left out to help stray animals survive the winter,
and it seemed Midnight had taken to sleeping in one of them more and more frequently. The
neighbours also had a lot of fun “stuff” in their backyard for him to explore, along with a garden
(bushes were just so interesting to him). Whenever the homeowner saw him, they would feed him
as well. Midnight was immediately friendly, often interested in going into the house. He’d sniff
around, but eventually get a little too nervous and run out. Over time, he seemed to be getting more
desperate to find a permanent home. Pet Patrol was called and confirmed they had room for him,
as the homeowner didn’t want to send him away until they knew for certain there was space for
him. So after a long year of looking for a safe space, this personable little guy finally had one!

Personality:

This handsome boy can be timid at first, especially with new people, but when he gets comfortable
he is very sweet and loving. He greets his foster mom with lots to say and loves to roll over for
belly rubs. He likes to follow her around and comes when she calls. Midnight is exploring toys
(something he had never experienced before), they are a bit of a mystery to him, but he does
love to play. It is wonderful seeing him progress and feeling more comfortable in his foster home.
Midnight is ready to be adopted into his forever home; one that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
