Rescue:
A man called Pet Patrol wanting to help a wee kitty in his barn. It was a beef farm and quite a large
operation cement floors, metal fence partitions, huge open windows, hundreds of cattle, and
many employees. He explained that the feed carts were motorized and had to travel too far to be
done by wheel barrel. They were also large, tall, and cannot see what is directly in front of them. In
the past, which greatly upset him, a cat had walked in front of the cart and was seriously injured.
This left him heartbroken and he never wanted to see it happen again. Then one day he found a
litter of kittens born in the hayloft. He relocated them and their momma, but he also noticed the
smallest kitten, Ola, was struggling. Three times a day, he went up to the loft to bottle feed her to
make sure she survived. When he brought her to the sanctuary, she was small enough to fit in a
children’s shoebox (but thankfully doing better). The man wanted to make sure she was looked
after and would find a good home. The barn was no place for this tiny kitten.
Personality:
Olah will require a starring role in the story of your life. She is a ridiculously cute girl who is
determined to get what she wants when it comes to both snuggles and play time. She likes to
spend visiting human laps and spends nights cuddled up on their beds, but when playtime comes
only other cats will do. Olah loves to wrestle and doesn’t hesitate to launch a full body tackle against
cats two or three times her size. When other cats hesitate to join her in play time she is persistent
but can also be generous. She has been known to demonstrate how much fun a particular toy is, and
then drop it in front of a potential playmate. Cats who really aren’t interested in playing with her may
need to give Ola that message quite a few times before she’ll accept it. But once she does, she will
give up on them completely. This spunky girl also delights in pushing anything she’s strong enough
to move off the edge of the desk. Olah Is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
