Rescue:

Little Morel and Mojo’s start in life was horrible. A woman had heard about a family who had a
number of cats in their home with five kittens to give away. It was not a nice home, dysfunctional
and accurately described as a hoarder home in ill repair. There were years of grime on the doors
and walls where hands had touched, floors were filthy with feces and dirt. There were few pathways
through the home and on either side was stuff; garbage and clothing piled and left to sit for ages.
The litter box was never cleaned. They would put the kittens in a carrier every night so that they
would not run around and wake them. But let’s think about this. If the house is in deplorable shape,
that carrier was not cleaned either, and the kittens sat in their own feces and urine every night. This
created horrendous sores on their bellies and feet.. reports have been made to try and clear up the
situation but help is slow. We are very happy to have rescued these sweet boys and their three
other siblings who have all recovered from their injuries.

Personality:

These two cute brothers are very playful and affectionate. They sleep together too. They love their
toys, crinkle balls, wands and interactive electronic toys. Even just your hand under a blanket! When
they are awake, they are active, energetic, wrestling, tumbling, zooming, climbing cat towers,
doing the crabby walk, and jumping in the air to chase bugs. Neither boy is timid when introduced
to new surroundings they’ll explore! They were comfortable with their foster’s older resident cats
as well. After playtime is over, they will come and lay next to you or on your chest and immediately
start purring. Morel and Mojo are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome
them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
