Rescue:
One of Pet Patrol’s longtime volunteers has fed cats in her small town for many years. Her front
cement porch, with a solid railing on all sides, provides a private, windfree area where the cats can
eat safely. At times, up to sixteen cats have gathered there. Over the years, she has brought many
of these poor felines into Pet Patrol care, ensuring they won’t have to endure another harsh winter
dealing with fluctuating temperatures and wind, snow and rain or the extreme heat of summer. One
morning, she was surprised to see a kitten at her feeding station—Noodle. It was unusual, as she
usually only sees adult cats. At first, he would run away when she opened the front door, but over
time, he stopped running, began watching her, and eventually waited patiently for food. When she
heard there was space at the sanctuary, she was relieved that Noodle could be rescued quickly.
Now, he’s on his way to a better life.

everything he does—whether chasing a toy, exploring new corners of the room, or simply watching
the world with wide eyed curiosity. He’s always eager to engage, making him an instant friend to
everyone he meets. Noodle’s friendly and easygoing demeanour makes him a true delight to be
around, whether during playful antics or quiet moments of snuggling. Noodle is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
