Rescue:

Dasia and Dexter survived quite an adventure after they were rescued. They originally lived in a
backyard on the covered porch of a woman who lived outside city limits. Their mom was with them.
The time had come for the kittens to be taken to a rescue organization and for their mom to be
spayed. Since they were a fair distance from the sanctuary, a volunteer went to meet the rescuer
halfway. During the transition from one car to the other, little Dexter became frightened and took off!
Dasia followed right after. Fortunately, within two days, both kittens were found safe and sound just
two doors down. Soon after they were placed in a foster home and have done extremely well.

Personality:

Dexter is a sweet and fluffy purring machine. He has a super thick orange coat that is soft as a
cloud. Although he is still learning to feel safe and secure with new people, he is easy to win over.
Pick him up and hold him like a baby and he will be purring away in your arms, wanting to be
cradled to sleep. His favourite toy is a tunnel, where he can play a game of chase with his sister. He
prefers gentle touch and soothing snuggles with people over rowdy games. Dasia’s calm and
gentle nature makes her easy to fall in love with. Like her brother, she’s still learning to trust, gentle
ear scratches will have her purring up a storm. She loves being held close. The feeling of security
makes her melt into your arms. Both kittens enjoy chasing toy mice with each other and interactive
games with their people. Their favourite spot to sleep is on the cat tree, curled up tightly and purring
deeply together. Dexter and Dasia are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
