Rescue:
Axel, Addie, Adler, Auden, and Aria had quite the journey before arriving at Pet Patrol. Their
adventure began when a woman running a bedandbreakfast, about an hour from where they were
found, pulled into her driveway and spotted these tiny kittens. With no mother cat in sight and
guests frequently parking in that same spot, she grew concerned for their safety. Unsure of where
they had come from, she quickly set up a humane trap, and in no time, all five hungry kittens were
safely rescued. After keeping them overnight, she reached out to a small rescue organization for
help. Unfortunately, the rescue was overwhelmed, and despite their best efforts, they couldn’t find
homes for the kittens. By the time Pet Patrol was contacted, these sweet little ones had spent two
long months in a cage, far too long for kittens full of energy and curiosity. Along with 12 other cats
from the same rescue, they were soon transported to the sanctuary
Personality:
The joy of watching their release into a large playroom at their foster home was unforgettable.
Initially, they explored cautiously, sniffing and trotting around. But within an hour, the kittens were
racing at full speed, zipping from corner to corner with pure excitement. Though they hadn’t quite
figured out the cat climber yet, they were having the time of their lives. When they felt a bit
overwhelmed, they would dash over to their foster parents, seeking comfort in their laps. Having
never had the chance to run before, they were now experiencing freedom for the first time. Thanks
to the care and affection they received at the small rescue—where every kitten was cuddled daily—
these kittens are all wonderfully loving and friendly. Now, Axel, Addie, Adler, Auden, and Aria are
ready to be adopted into their forever homes, where they will be welcomed into the family and kept
safely indoors.
