Rescue:

Simba’s journey to Pet Patrol came from an unexpected twist in his family’s plans. When his
owners retired, they decided to sell their home and embrace a life of travel in a large motorhome.
During the summer, they would park at a local trailer park, and when the park closed for winter,
they’d head south for warmer weather. Their plan had always included Simba, their loving
companion, However, traveling wasn’t easy for Simba. Despite medication from the vet, he
experienced severe nausea in the car, drooling and panting the entire trip. For a cat as sensitive as
Simba, it was simply too much. Initially, they hoped to find Simba a foster home for the two months
they’d be away. But as they observed him in the motorhome, they noticed he was distressed—
pacing, pawing at windows, and constantly hiding. They realized Simba would never feel
comfortable in such a confined, everchanging space. After much consideration, they made the
difficult decision to find him a permanent, stable home, knowing it was what he needed to thrive.
Now, Simba is safe at Pet Patrol and ready to settle into a loving, stayathome family.

Personality:

Simba is a playful and affectionate boy who brings joy to everyone around him. Always curious, he
loves to test out anything that rolls, crinkles, or makes noise, adding a spark of fun to his daily
routine. This sweet boy has a soft spot for belly rubs and will flop down in front of you, ready for
attention the moment you walk through the door. Simba is wonderfully attentive and comes when
you call, making him a loyal and loving companion. With a gentle, curious nature, Simba likes to
keep an eye on his people, following along to see where they are. He is a delightful house cat, full
of love and affection, ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
