Rescue:
Poor JayJay—what had this sweet boy been through? A woman who runs a small cat rescue in a
northern town contacted Pet Patrol about him. JayJay had shown up on a remote farm, far from any
nearby neighbors, with fields stretching for miles in all directions. Despite his loving and affectionate
nature, he was carrying a serious wound on his left side. A large scab had formed and eventually
fell off, but the wound stubbornly refused to heal. Seeing that he needed proper medical care, the
woman arranged for JayJay to be brought to Pet Patrol. During his vet visit, he was neutered, and
his wound was thoroughly cleaned and stitched up, requiring about 15 stitches to close. Since then,
JayJay has made an incredible recovery, bouncing back with his friendly, easygoing spirit fully
intact.
Personality:
JayJay is truly a wonderful boy with a heart full of love. He adores being close to his people and is
happiest when he’s picked up, carried around, or snuggling up on a warm lap. When it’s bedtime,
he’ll curl up right beside you, purring contentedly. In the playroom, JayJay is full of life, enjoying his
toys, the cat scratcher, and climbing to new heights. He loves the kitty tunnels and has even taken
to exploring the outdoor enclosure, making the most of every moment. With his gentle, affectionate
nature and his playful spirit, JayJay is ready to find his forever family—one that will welcome him
into the home and keep him safely indoors.
