Rescue:

This fella was adopted to a woman at the beginning of COVID for company and to provide a kitty a
good home. Originally, he was born under a back deck to a mother cat, abandoned on the streets
of a small town. It is not uncommon for this to happen and luckily they were found in the yard of a
caring family. Soon Jedi, his mom, and his siblings came into Pet Patrol care. Three months later
he was adopted. A year later, he moved from the woman’s apartment to her parent’s house
because “he was not being looked after properly.” There he resided until this Fall. The parents had
both taken terribly ill one was living in long term care and the other was not able to live
independently. Their son was trying to take care of everyone and Jedi was in need of a home as
family members could not take him in. As part of Pet Patrol originally, we welcomed him at the
sanctuary and hope he find a forever home soon.

Personality:

Jedi is a laidback, friendly cat with a heart full of affection. He adores belly rubs and can often be
found lounging in a perfect loaf position, content to simply rest and relax. While he hasn’t shown
much interest in playtime, he more than makes up for it with his calm and gentle demeanor. Jedi is
the kind of cat who thrives on companionship and is always ready for snuggles and attention.
In the mornings, he’ll greet you with insistent meows to let you know it’s breakfast time—his polite
but determined way of saying he’s ready to start the day. Jedi is incredibly clean, wellmannered,
and tame, making him a perfect fit for someone looking for a lowmaintenance and loving
companion. His sweet, affectionate nature would make him an ideal match for an older person or
anyone who appreciates a quiet, easygoing cat. Jedi is ready to bring his soothing presence and
endless love to a forever home where he’ll be cherished and kept safely indoors
