Rescue:
Rascal was found all alone on a big country property in a lot of pain due to a leg injury. He had
found his way into a chicken coop to hide amongst the chickens. Surprisingly, the chickens didn’t mind
and a rooster even went out of his way to keep Rascal safe from other animals. The owners
eventually noticed Rascal and started feeding him trying to gain his trust. He was a tough little kitten to try and catch, but eventually he was found
sleeping on their porch rocking chair. It was there where they were able to catch him and bring
him to the Pet Patrol sanctuary. Once in our care, he received surgery to remove his too far gone
leg and quickly blossomed into an incredibly happy, playful kitten.
Personality:
Rascal is one tough little kitten with a huge heart. After surviving outdoors with a broken leg, he had
his leg amputated, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. Now, safe and warm indoors, he’s full of
joy and energy, racing around the house as fast as his fourlegged friends. Rascal loves being
petted and carried, always purring and thrilled to see you. A bit of a daredevil, he climbs right to the
top of the cat tower and leads the pack in every game—wrestling, chasing toys, and darting after
the laser light. Rascal’s spirit and love for life are contagious, and together, he and a potential
buddy would bring endless joy to a loving home. Rascal would love to be adopted together into a
family who can keep him safely indoors and give them the love and playtime he deserves.
