Rescue:
Kiana, Keisha, Kawani were brought to Pet Patrol’s attention by a woman who has brought us
cats many times before. Her daughter delivers products to farms and noticed them in a horse
stall. They were very weak, scraggly, and obviously had upper respiratory and eye issues. This
was a very dusty, dirty barn, and they were basically left in the stall to die. They told the young lady
to “let nature take its course,” but she would have no part of that. She immediately bundled up the
kittens and brought them to Pet Patrol’s sanctuary. Although they’ve had their challenges trying to
fight off their colds, all three kittens have done extremely well. They started gaining weight quickly
and to show off their happygolucky personalities. They are ready to be adopted into their forever
home, one that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
Personality:
Kawani loves to play. She’s energetic and will run laps around the house, chasing her sisters or her
older foster brother. Her favourite game to play is keepaway with a crinkle toy. Kawani is also
adventurous and loves to explore. Meanwhile, Kiana is a total snuggle bug. Smallest of the litter
and over a pound lighter than Kawani, she loves to be in the lap of her humans for comfort and
security. If she’s laying on a soft blankie, she will suckle on the fabric. Despite having lost an eye,
she quite honestly doesn’t notice. She may overpeak her corners, but that just makes her all the
cuter. She will wrestle with her sisters, but she prefers sprints. Kawani looks out for her smaller
sister, and these two are ready to be adopted into their forever home together, one where they’ll be
welcomed and kept safely indoors
