Rescue:
Pet Patrol first heard of Opie when a concerned woman reached out, urgently trying to place a tiny
kitten into a safe rescue. She had been contacted by an older man with zero tolerance for cats on
his property. When little Opie emerged from a woodpile, as cute as could be, the man’s heart
remained unmoved. He told his friend to “come get him now, or I’ll take care of him myself.”
Alarmed by the man’s threat, she rushed over to rescue Opie, bringing him into her care
immediately. Once safe, Opie’s rescuer saw his sweet, affectionate nature firsthand and knew he
deserved a chance to find a loving home. She reached out to local rescues until she connected with
Pet Patrol, knowing they could provide him with the warmth and protection he needed. Now, Opie is
thriving, and this little survivor is ready to find his forever family where he’ll be cherished and kept
safely indoors.
Personality:
Opie is the perfect mix of sweetness and charm. This orange and white kitten has a playful spirit
and a knack for bringing smiles to everyone he meets. He adores chasing after toys, especially
anything that rolls or jingles, and he’ll keep you entertained with his silly antics. But as much as he
loves to play, Opie is equally affectionate. He’s a cuddle champion who enjoys curling up in a warm
lap, purring contentedly while soaking up all the love. With his bright, curious eyes and gentle
nature, Opie is a little bundle of joy who stole hearts and quickly found his forever home.
