Rescue:

A woman had noticed her two large dogs were looking out onto her lawn with great curiosity. She
wondered what had caught their interest. Securing them in the house she went out to investigate
and found Shay, huddled in fear, in the middle of the grass. She looked around carefully for other
cats as she had recently rescued two small kittens, but none could be found. She brought this teen
aged cat into the house and made sure he was behind closed doors and away from her dogs. They
have a prey drive for any living thing catching their attention, this boy would not have lasted long.
She called around other rescues and into her neighbourhood community group to see if anyone
had noticed any other cats or kittens, but none were noticed. She called rescue organizations and
Pet Patrol was able to bring in this handsome cat, very frightened at first but he soon adapted and
became very fun loving and happy go lucky.

Personality:

Shay is quite the adorable little guy with his beautiful, soft, light gray tabby markings and irresistible
charm. He’s a playful, curious cat who loves to chase after toys, climb to the top of the cat tree, and
perch on high spots like the tops of cages to watch the world go by. Whether it’s a sunny window
view or the action happening indoors, Shay always finds the perfect spot to observe it all. What
makes Shay truly special is how much he loves attention. He’s never far behind, following you
around, rubbing up against your legs, and even plopping himself down on your feet to make sure
he’s not missing out on any snuggles. The moment you sit down, Shay seems to sense it and will
magically appear, nuzzling you for pets and affection. He’s interactive with both people and other
cats, always happy to make a new friend or share a cuddle. Shay is ready to be adopted into his
forever home—one that will welcome him into the family, shower him with the love he craves, and
keep him safely indoors.
