Rescue:

There is a woman who lives in a village outside the city limits, about a 15 minute drive. She has
lived in the same house for 40 years and has been looking after the stray cats in her community the
entire time. She has found homes for some, spayed or neutered others, and there’s always that
one feral cat who won’t ever come near anybody at any time. Cheerio’s mother is that feral cat ­
illusive and aloof ­ and she now has a litter of six. The woman really wanted to make sure that the
kittens were safely indoors and started rescuing them. Cheerio’s brother arrived first, but after a few
days, eventually everyone was found and Cheerio’s family was reunited.
