Rescue:
When Pet Patrol first heard about Goldie, a stunning spotted brown tabby with golden waves in her
fur, her situation was dire. She had been left outside for far too long, braving the harsh winter with
no one to care for her. Goldie wasn’t owned by anyone, but she stayed close to a house where kind
people had started leaving food out for her. Though timid about approaching, Goldie would sit
nearby and meow softly, as if asking for help. A heartbreaking photo captured her perched on a
snow covered fence between two properties, watching and waiting for her next meal. She never
wandered far, but the question lingered: where was she finding warmth? Where was she sleeping
in such freezing conditions? A plan was quickly put into action. A humane trap was set with warm,
smelly canned cat food, and it didn’t take long for Goldie to step inside. The door closed, and her
journey to safety began.
Personality:
Goldie is an affectionate little sweetheart who adores scritches, pats, and even belly rubs! She’s
never far from the resident cats, happily following them around and rubbing up against them like
they’re her best friends. This social butterfly thrives on companionship and loves being part of the
action. As a kitten, Goldie’s playful energy knows no bounds. She can turn anything into a game—
she’s even been known to use a towel as a slide, zooming up and down the hallway for her own
amusement! Her favorite toy is her beloved catnip rainbow, which she goes absolutely wild for.
Not only is she playful, but Goldie is also incredibly smart. She mastered a treat puzzle on her very
first try, proving that she’s just as clever as she is adorable. With her mix of affectionate snuggles,
playful antics, and sharp mind, Goldie is the perfect combination of cuddly and entertaining. Goldie
is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
