Rescue:

Mocha’s journey began on a rural farm located 1.5 hours north of the sanctuary. This big, burly boy
showed up on the property and quickly made himself known with his friendly, laidback personality.
The first thing they noticed was how desperately thin he was. They could feel every vertebrae in his
spine and count every rib. Despite living inside with the family for a few weeks, Mocha struggled
due to the presence of other male cats on the farm. Being unaltered it created tension. Even in
these challenging conditions, Mocha’s sweet and gentle nature shone through. Recognizing he
needed a safe and stable home where he could thrive, his rescuers reached out to Pet Patrol. Now
in our care, he’s accepted all the care and affection we naturally provide, sailed through his neuter
surgery and is ready to find a loving forever home. One where his affectionate personality will be
cherished and he will be kept strictly indoors.

Personality:

Mocha is a sweet, affectionate boy who has left his rough past behind and is now searching for one
thing—love. From the moment he arrived at his foster home, he made himself right at home,
confidently exploring his surroundings and immediately seeking out pets and cuddles. If there’s a
lap available, Mocha will find it! Whether it’s a familiar face or a brand new visitor, no one is safe
from his need for affection. Unlike most cats, Mocha is completely at ease during car rides, making
him an easygoing companion. He is incredibly gentle and has never scratched, hissed, or shown
any signs of aggression. He doesn’t mind having his paws touched and is always happy to soak up
as much attention as possible. Because he adores being the center of attention, Mocha would do
best in a home without other cats. He’s looking for a family who will shower him with love, offer
plenty of cozy laps, and give him all the affection he craves. Mocha is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
