Rescue:

Mew and her siblings Magby and Marill, with their mom Millie were rehomed by a family with
young children. The entire family, mom, dad, children and pet dog stood outside the house as
they watched them being loaded into a Pet Patrol Volunteers car and taken to their new foster
home. Millie was a much loved member of the family. They had owned her since she was a
kitten but unfortunately, they did not get her spayed. They were able to stop her from having a
litter by keeping her indoors until recently when she got out of the house. There would have still
been time to have her spayed but unfortunately the finances weren’t there because the family
were in the process of packing up and moving across country. They couldn’t see themselves
packed into a car with three children, the dog and Millie with her three kittens. Days and days
of driving would not have suited these wee ones. The family could hardly get the words out to
say goodbye to her, tears were streaming down their faces. A very sad story.

Personality:

Mew, Marill and Magby are little bundles of kitten energy! They love to wrestle and play with
each other and seek each other out for cuddles and purrs. They are excited when people
come to visit and are so friendly and patient with gentle children. The wand toys with feathers
on the end of the dangling string and balls that they can chase after. We often can find them
burrowing under things like low beds and climbing through cardboard boxes. When they have
run out of energy they will cuddle with each other or find a lap to curl up in. Lovely kittens.
Mew, Marill and Magby are ready to be adopted into their forever homes with a playmate or
sibling. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
